Professional Barber Course

The Professional Barber Course of Do It Better aims to educate treinees with the techniques and skills, so they can fit in every styles and trends. The barber profession is, again, increasing , follow by a wave that we can consider revivalist in the first half of the last century, that goes through the decoration of their own establishments, through the materials they use and, naturally, through the hair cuts they make.

This course is directed to a public in general that wants to start a career in beauty and all that public who has interest or a talent in male hairstyles.

Requirement: Minimum age: 18 years (if you are underage, you will need a authorization of your guardian) | School qualifications: 9th grade or above

Module13 | 12H: Entrepreneurship (concept, opportunity versus necessity and business plan)

Module14 | 20H: Técnicas Classic techniques of cut (Old School)

It is intended,in the end of the course, that the treinees have developed the next skills:

• Master the basic techniques of work and know all the theoretical and pratical aspects in beauty and male capillary;
• Apply the rules of safety and hygiene;
• Do a hair diagnosis;
• Advise products and treatments to a certain tipe of hair and scalp;
• Detect diseases and illnesses of the hair and scalp;
• Perform hair cut transformation and image transformation.

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to exercise their function in:

• Barbershops
• Hair Saloons
