Module 2 | 10H – Legal and international regime applicable to maritime transport and port infrastructure
Module 3 | 10H – National Security Systems and National Security Plans
Module 4 | 10H -Maintaining a safe environment and managing the needs of users of port infrastructures
Module 5 | 25H – Techniques and procedures for controlling people, luggage and goods
Module 6 | 10H -Port security and emergency plans
Module 7 | 10H- Procedures for personal searches and security searches
Module 8 | 25H – Techniques, procedures and practice for the identification of dangerous or prohibited objects, goods and substances
Module 9 | 10H – Identification of documents and signs, marks, symbols and international and national commodity codes
Module10 | 10H – Conflict management: identification of risk behaviors, resolution and communication techniques

The Do It BetterPorts and Airports Assistant Course aims to:
- Pass on basic knowledge of port and airport assistant functions;
- Know the national and international legal regime applicable to air and airport security;
- Acquire skills in terms of the use of electronic security equipment and the control of people, luggage and products;
- Recognize safety standards in airport infrastructures, anti-social and prohibited behavior, comfort, guidance and well-being of passengers;
- To transmit competences in the management of incidents and execution of security plans.
