The Assistant Technician Course in Educational Action gives way to learning, where the role of Auxiliary Technician is essential in integrating children into the pedagogical routine. Program Content (147H | 6 months)
Module 1 | 24H-Child Development.
Module 2 | 24H– Accompanying children: basic rules of nutrition, hygiene, safety and rest.
Module 3 | 39H – Accompanying children: Animation Techniques.
Module 4 | 36H -Monitoring in Kindergarten and Kindergarten – Pedagogical Techniques.
Module 5 | 24H – Dysfunctional behaviors and children with specific educational needs.
The Assistant Technical Course of Educational Actionhas as main objective the acquisitiontion skills to care for childresn upto 12 years old, including children with specific educationalneeds. Thus, it is intended that the trainee, at the end of the course, be able to:
- Execute and / or assist the planning of pedagogical and playful activities in the different contexts in which it operates, taking into account the educational needs and the age of the children in its care;
- Take care of children at home, daycare centers, kindergartens, babysitting services, Free Time Activities (ATL) and similar establishments;
- Caring for children with specific educational needs, collaborating in the programming, development and monitoring of their daily and leisure activities;
- Identify and apply conditions of hygiene, safety and organization of the place where the children are, as well as the toys and other materials used;
- Report to guardians and / or the Kindergarten Educator about any health or other problems related to the child’s daily routines.
The Assistnt Technical Course in Educational Actionallows you to perform functions in:
- Public or private school education establishments, companies related to the education sector, ATL’s (leisure, complementary and extracurricular activities) and summer camps;
- Kindergartens and special education establishments;
- Institutions in the area of social assistance, and reception, of minors at risk and family support.
Upon completion of the course, all trainees will receive a free training certificate, which recognizes and certifies all their professional skills, ensuring the necessary qualification for the exercise of a profession. In this area, Do It Better Certificate is established according to Decree-Law No. 396/2007 of 31 December.
