Modular training for completion of the 12th year carried out through capitalizable units, allows trainees to acquire knowledge of a transdisciplinary and transversal nature that aims to acquire knowledge or reinforce personal, social and professional skills, with a view to (re)insertion into active life and adaptability to different work contexts.
It also aims to enhance the development of citizens, in the national and community space, providing the conditions for deepening the capabilities of autonomy, initiative, self-learning, teamwork, collection and processing of information and problem solving.
After the end of the 12th year completion course, a certificate is issued with a description of the Curricular Units completed in each course attended, which is subsequently sent to the Qualifica center, (Do It Better partner) for analysis, validation and issuance of the certificate of equivalence to the 12th year, in the Technical Committee.

Sim, os adultos que concluam o ensino básico ou secundário através do Curso de Formação Modular para Conclusão do 12.º ano e que pretendam prosseguir estudos estão sujeitos aos respetivos requisitos de acesso das diferentes modalidades de formação.
A certificação escolar resultante de um Curso de Formação Modular para Conclusão do 12.º ano de nível secundário permite o prosseguimento de estudos através de um Curso de Especialização Tecnológica ou de um curso de nível superior, mediante as deliberações definidas pela Comissão Nacional de Acesso ao Ensino Superior, na Deliberação n.º 1650/2008, de 13 de junho:
“Classificação final do ensino secundário a atribuir aos candidatos cujo diploma, nos termos da lei, não inclua essa classificação Para efeitos de candidatura ao ensino superior, a classificação final do curso do ensino secundário a atribuir aos estudantes cuja conclusão e certificação de nível secundário não inclua essa classificação, é a que resulta da classificação, ou da média das classificações obtidas nos exames nacionais do ensino secundário que se constituam como provas de ingresso para o par estabelecimento/curso a que pretendem concorrer. ”
